This retreat is fruit of a partnership between Mary Mother of God Parish and Regnum Christi. During the event, we will deepen on our identity in Christ by reflecting on key moments of the life St Peter. Fr. Pierre Caouette, LC will be leading this initiative with a team of collaborators. The retreat will consist of fellowship, Mass, talks, personal prayer & small group sharing. It will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Mary Mother of God Parish, Oakville.

Couples Retreat – The 5 Love Languages in Married Life This retreat is fruit of a partnership between Mary Mother of God Parish and Regnum Christi. Our Catholic Womens League is collecting personal care products for the Kerr Street Mission. Items they are collecting: deodorant, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Items can be dropped off at all of the weekend Masses the weekend of April 22 and 23.

Beginning on October 9 at 3 pm, Mary Mother of God in Oakville will resume offering a monthly Mass for Catholics (young and old) with sensory sensitivities including Autism, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD and other sensory differences. You can expect lower lighting, softer music, shorter and more literal homilies, low gluten hosts and the freedom to move around if necessary. Most important, you'll receive the Eucharist while surrounded by fellow worshipers with a warm, welcoming attitude. Feel free to bring whatever supports you may need, including fidgets, weighted blankets, noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses or comfort toys. Wednesday mornings beginning October 5: We know how hard it can be to be home with little ones. On Wednesday mornings, let us serve you, look after the little ones and help you carve out an hour a week with the Lord so He can recharge your battery! Mass is at 9:00 am, followed by refreshments and conversation in the Nativity Room until 11:15 while the children are looked after in another room by loving volunteers. Bishop Crosby is sending a delegation of 40 young adults to World Youth Day in the summer of 2023. World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the world. On Thursday, August 4th, we will be hosting our second annual Marathon of Reconciliation on the Feast of St. Jean Vianney. Please join us at anytime between noon and 8pm for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. St. Jean Vianney was known as a 'martyr of the confessional' since he would hear confessions up to 16 hours a day. Fr. Jerry and Fr. Nishil will honor this great saint by hearing confessions all day on his feast day. Please make every effort to join us for this very blessed event!

Kids are encouraged to attend Mass with their grandparents, and seniors and grandparents who attend will receive a rose and a special blessing. The Holy Father will visit Canada from July 24 to July 29, 2022. Pope Francis’ historic visit to Canada will provide an opportunity for the Pope to listen and dialogue with Indigenous Peoples and to address the impact of residential schools in Canada. The Holy Father will begin his Canadian visit by traveling to Edmonton, Alberta, then to Quebec City, St. Anne-de-Beaupré and then to Iqaluit, Nunavut before returning to Rome. Drawing on the theme, “Walking Together”, the Holy Father’s journey of reconciliation, healing and hope includes visits to a former residential school, Indigenous pilgrimage sites, and several private and public events, including two public Masses.
